Over the years, Nikki has built up a solid team of the best event DJs from Boston to Austin providing multiple regions with renowned service for weddings. Since moving to Texas in 2013, she spent almost 4 years scouting DJs before dedicating them to her team. As a result of her hard work, Nikki has managed to land multiple awards from "Best of The Knot Hall of Fame" for being named Best of The Knot for 2016, 2017, 2018, 2019, 2020, 2021 & 2022! 

With her high demand getting even "higher" Nikki wanted an updated website to live up to her reviews and reputation. As a mother and full time business owner, building a new website was not an option to do on her own.

I accepted the challenge and immediately took a look at some big names in the wedding game. I saved any visuals that I could using Figma and began creating mid-fidelity wireframes and a site map to present to Nikki. A few days later we joined on Zoom, made revisions, and started the journey to polishing her new website.​

• Competitor Sites used entire width of Hero section with large high-resolution photography

• A Call to Action button was either on the Hero Section or immediately under

• Services provided were stated under Hero Section

• Contact forms were on multiple pages

• Branding colors were light and airy

• Typography was legible

• DJ NIXX & I agreed using the rules of 3 when displaying services and images

• Corporate events would be a challenge publically displaying events due to NDA's therefore logos of companies were used for the hero section.

• Videos were chosen to use for the Wedding and Corporate pages to bring an engaging experience.
